KCSE exams marred by cheating incidents Nationwide

12th November, 2025

The ongoing KCSE examinations have been hit by multiple cases of exam malpractice across several counties.

In Migori County, police are investigating an incident at St. Anne’s Sunrise Girls School, where a former teacher allegedly gained access to the school compound, impersonated an invigilator, and entered a room where a Mathematics paper was underway. The suspect is said to have scanned a candidate’s exam paper before fleeing.

Authorities have since arrested the deputy centre manager and an invigilator for allegedly aiding the act.

Meanwhile, in Kisumu County, a candidate at Magunga Secondary School has been arrested in connection with exam irregularities.
