Sponsors have dipped their hands into wide open pockets to ensure the Ngong meeting on Sunday, is nothing short of an all time spectacular.

Racing has its own bite with the George Drew Challenge Series Jockey Club Stakes at 1.50 pm.

Three Derby winners are entered — Martial Art, Silverdale (okay, he lost by default!), and, Warai. Then, Chilulu is an escapee of the St. Leger.

It could be such a tall finish in the making, with up and coming Nashville also hunting rewards. Put it this way. Martial Art will have more on his plate than usual.

After proceedings, all the trophies are set to be handed out from 6.00 pm.

A get together in the OBTS Pavilion, is an open invitation to see who is top sprinter, best horse, finest jockey, leading owner, most improved rider, breeder extraordinaire, and, winning apprentice.

Of course, this party is accompanied by refreshments, and injections of fresh ideas for October.

May we congratulate Ibrahim Wachira on a very successful first endeavour into the world of training, offering our sympathies for his recent accident on Armstrong’s Girl.
