Focus will be on Sunday’s highlight FKF Premier League match at Kasarani Stadium when Tusker host defending champion Gor Mahia.

This fixture has gained considerable attention in the lead-up, thanks to Tusker chairman Charles Gacheru's threat to sack head coach Robert Matano if they fail to defeat Gor Mahia.

The brewers have had a shaky start to the season, securing two wins, two draws, and two losses. These mixed results place them in seventh position and eight points adrift of the league leaders, Posta Rangers.

On the other hand, Gor Mahia will be hoping league's top scorer Benson Omalla (six goals) inspire them to another big win after his Mashemeji derby exploits.

Notably, he was excluded from the Harambee Stars' squad for their international friendly match against Russia, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Kariobangi Sharks will battle with Muhoroni Youth in the early kick-off match (1 pm) at the same venue.

In Mombasa, all eyes will be on Tomas Trucha, the newly re-appointed AFC Leopards head coach as Ingwe collide with Bandari. Trucha has been tasked with turning around the club's poor results.

Ingwe currently find themselves in the relegation zone with only four points to their name. Their season has been marked by a winless start, consisting of four draws and two defeats.
