Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku warns FA Cup semi foes Tottenham they have their mojo back after West Brom stinker

Romelu Lukaku believes his 27th goal of the season was the perfect way to warm up for his FA Cup semi-final shootout with Tottenham's Harry Kane.

The Manchester United marksman struck again on Wednesday to see off Bournemouth, and is now enjoying his most productive season ever in the Premier League.

Lukaku , who has netted 20 or more goals in each of the last four campaigns with Everton and now the Reds, confirmed on Thursday that he's joined the Roc Nation Sports agency, founded by R'n'B superstar Jay Z.

The Belgian’s next order of business will be to seek revenge for January's 2-0 Wembley defeat by Spurs in the Premier League when United head back to the national stadium on Saturday.

After ending a two-game 'drought', Lukaku said: “Quite often when I get my goals, they come in a few games. It was nice to contribute in that way as well.

“Our goal for a little while now has been to make sure we get to the FA Cup final. This is the perfect way to lead into the weekend.”

Boss Jose Mourinho made seven changes to his starting eleven for the win at Bournemouth.

Lukaku was among several big-hitters kept on the bench but joined the action as a substitute after 63 minutes, and scored just seven minutes later.

Paul Pogba, who did start the match, set up him with a driving run and a precise through-ball.

Lukaku added: “At half-time, the manager told Paul (Pogba) to keep making those runs. He did and played a perfect pass which I was able to finish off.

“It was really important that we won and now we’re well prepared for this weekend. As a player you always want to play and you always have to be ready.”

Mourinho again branded his side “inconsistent” after the win, which followed the shock home defeat at the hands of bottom side West Brom on Sunday that confirmed neighbours Man City as champions.

Lukaku insisted United have learned from that miserable afternoon and will be a different proposition for Spurs.

He went on: “We all knew we weren’t good enough against West Brom and we needed to stand up [here] and put on a performance. You could see the lads were up for it.”
