Western Stima has signed former Muhoroni Youth goal poacher and lanky striker Wycliffe Ochomo.

Chairman Laban Jobita, the Western Stima Chairman confirmed that they had roped in the striker as a free agent to help bolster their squad as they seek to clinch the 2017 League title. “Ochomo is a great player, a goal poacher and an instrumental player that any team can seek to have on his side,” said Jobita. He added: “We have signed the striker to bolster our side ahead of the 2017 season. We are confident that with his experience, he will help us achieve our aim of winning the league in the 2017 season.”

The 26-year-old Ochomo scored a total of 12 goals but had his campaign to win the Golden Boot category cut short through suspension with five rounds left before the close of the 2016 season.
