Manchester United player Wayne Rooney says he wants to head into retirement playing for Red Devils

The England captain says he intends to see out the remainder of his career as a Manchester United player.

Rooney yesterday revealed that he will retire from international football immediately after the World Cup in 2018 thus allowing him to focus on club football after that.

Wayne Rooney went on to state how he wants to finish his playing career at Manchester united going on to insist he wants the final years of his career to be spent at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney who joined Manchester United 12 years ago from Everton, and despite interest from America and China he sees the club as the only place he wants to play.

The England captain is already looking forward to life after playing – with a move into coaching in his sights.

Wayne Rooney has revealed he will retire from international football in 2018.
