KPL: De Jongh says his contract ends in June

There is a looming battle at the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side AFC Leopards over the club’s decision to contract a new coach for the coming season. Sacked coach Pieter De Jongh says his contract with the club, signed on May 17 last year, extends up to June 2015. The Dutchman is currently sprucing up his new training schedule. “I am starting my official training with players on Monday. I want to build a formidable side that will be worthy contenders for the league and other tournaments, so far I believe I have done my best at AFC,” Jongh said on New Year eve.
