Vera Sidika is having a baby girl! After weeks of keeping her fans guessing, the Vera Sidika parlour CEO revealed her baby's gender in a party held at Karen on Saturday evening, July 10.

Dressed in a long white fitting dress with blue and pink ruffles, Vera looked composed but clearly anxious as she admitted that she was learning by the day what it means to be someone's wife and a mother to be.

"Am so excited. I am so delighted. I always wanted to be a mother. I always wanted to be a family person," she said.

The all white party had notable celebrities in attendance including Vera’s long-term friend comedian Eric Omondi.

Also present was her celebrity hubby, singer Brown Mauzo, however, he didn't have much to say.

In a recent YouTube video, Vera shared how she predicated her pregnancy three years ago when she released her music video Nalia after going through a tough breakup.

Vera also clearly stated she was yearning to have a baby girl, and this was evident after she was captured jumping up and down with happiness when she found out her baby's gender.

 Vera couldn't hide her joy.

In the past, Vera told Standard Entertainment that family and her business enterprise were now her top priorities, adding that change and growth should be part of life.

She said she plans to give birth here in Nairobi, where the couple has been staying for the best part of the year.

Vera also noted that her mum and the family, in general, were entirely behind their union and their family life.
