George Ndung'u alias Ray Gee is a 22-year-old street boy who has lived in the streets for approximately nine years. This unfortunate fate happened when he gave his younger sister chocolate without knowing that she was diabetic and she passed on from hyperglycemia. His father, blaming him for his sister's death disowned him at around the age of 13.
The streets have been home for Ray Gee till now that his talent has lit the way for a brighter future. He’d previously been discovered by MCA Tricky after a video of him singing impressed many Kenyans. In a recent interview, Ray Gee said that Nviiri was his inspiration and the Sol Generation signee fulfilled the singer’s wish by featuring him in his latest release dubbed 'Lesotho'. Singing alongside Nviiri has always been Ray Gee's dream and he's the epitome of dreams are truly valid.
