Woman smashes beer bottle on friend’s head over a chama debt

A drinking spree turned ugly last Sunday when a woman was slashed on the head with a broken beer bottle over deni ya chama.

Loice Muthoni, 30, was cutting drinks at a pub in Pipeline estate in Embakasi, Nairobi when Wambui Muhia aka ‘Mama Shiro’, a colleague at her chama, demanded that she clears the Sh6,000 debt she owed her.
