Ants get a field day feasting on a drunkard

Nakuru, Kenya: There was drama recently when a drunk who marked Kenya@50 celebrations in great style got more than he bargained for.

The middle-aged man had staggered out of a chang’aa den in Wanyororo village in Bahati District, Nakuru County, where he seemed to have taken one too many tins of illicit bootleg liquor.

He must have mesmeried many with his off-key singing and mumblings only his goats can best understand.

While homebound, the drunkard staggered and fell on a path of black safari ants. The ants seemed to have a field day as they crawled into his body, soundly biting him back to sobriety.

This saw the drunkard stagger up and froth from his mouth that he was being ‘finished’!

 He stripped as he shook his clothes free of the ants.  A number of children and villagers made fun of him.
