Engineer Philemon Kandie has resigned as the Director General of the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), three years into his five-year contract.

In a letter dated July 11, 2025, Kandie formally notified the Board of his decision to step down from the role, citing a three-month notice period with his last day in office set for October 10, 2025. He also requested to proceed on his 45-day annual leave beginning July 14, 2025.
