CHADEMA demands answers over alleged plot to poison Lissu in custody

Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA) has demanded an immediate investigation into reports of an alleged plot to poison its National Chairman, Tundu Lissu, while in detention in Tanzania.

The party raised the alarm on Wednesday, July 2, after several sources, including Honourable David McAllister, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, posted concerns on social media.
