Senator Omtatah demands police overhaul over Ojwang's death in custody

Busia Senator Okiyah Omtatah has called for a complete overhaul of the police command, citing a culture of impunity and lack of accountability following the controversial death of blogger Albert Ojwang while in police custody.

Speaking on Spice FM on Monday, June 16, Omtatah said the circumstances surrounding Ojwang's death suggest a deliberate cover-up by police, describing the incident as "a murder" backed by autopsy findings that indicated the injuries appeared personal and intentional.
