What happened during UoN night inferno?

A fire that broke out on Wednesday night at the University of Nairobi's Taifa Hall, caused significant damage to two structures in the Mahatma Gandhi wing.

Speaking on the aftermath on Thursday, January 16, Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Francis Mulaa explained that the fire engulfed the senior common room and the chancellor's parlor, which are adjacent structures within the affected wing.
