2022 KCSE results breakdown according to gender

Of the 881,416 candidates who sat for the 2022 KCPE examinations, 443, 644 were male while 437,772 were female. [File, Standard]

Kenya has achieved gender parity in secondary and primary school examinations, this is according to Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.

Announcing the 2022 KCSE examination results on Friday, CS Machogu said of the 881,416 candidates who sat for the examinations, 443, 644 were male while 437,772 were female, representing 50. 33 per cent and 49. 69 per cent of the total candidature respectively.
