American golfing superstar Tiger Woods sealed an epic comeback from scandals and injuries to win the 83rd Masters on Sunday, April 14 claiming his 15th major title.
 
The 43-year-old toppled his peers snatching his first major title since the 2008 US open ending an 11-year major drought.

Woods made a return to the Masters after a spinal fusion surgery he underwent in 2017 that he feared could have a major negative impact in his life and career to win his fifth Masters title.

The superstar finished on 13-under 275 for a one-shot victory after firing a final round two-under-par 70 to earn the $2.07 million top prize and a Green Jacket.

Woods was hailed by the spectators at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, in a thunderstorm threatened atmosphere the facility where he won his first major title back in 1997.
