Journalist roughed up by colleagues for ‘eating’ alone

A sports journalist was roughed up by colleagues for allegedly eating money given to him to share [Courtesy]

A sports journalist was left without his shirt and a few of his personal belongings after a disagreement with his colleagues over money.

The money had allegedly been given to the journo to share with his colleagues, but he chose to keep it all to himself.

His colleagues lost their heads, claiming he was notorious, with some of the threatening to confiscate his personal items until he produced the money.

“This time round, we must teach him a lesson he will never forget,” a scribe told Nairobian’s Offside.

The journalist, however, maintained he had not been given any money to share with his colleagues and that the source must have misled them into believing he had given him money.

“They claim I was given money, some of them abused me, while others roughed me up,” he told Offside.

He, however, downplayed the matter, saying he will not take any action against those who roughed him up and tore his clothes.
