MPs Keter, Tiren ask CS Kiunjuri to resign over Sh740M maize scandal

Under pressure to resign: Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri.

Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter and Moiben MP Silas Kipkoech Tiren have asked Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri to resign over the Sh740 million maize scandal.

This came just a few hours after  Crops PS Richard Lesiyampe tabled names of 13 traders who were paid Sh740 million for supplying the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) with 10,000 bags of maize yet they were not registered farmers.
