CHAN TIMELINE
March 2013- Government promises to construct five new world class stadia.
February 2014- Kenya is awarded hosting rights
February 2016- Official instruments are handed to Kenya by CAF
April 2016- CAF carries out first inspection
June 2017- Second inspection visit by CAF
August 2017- Major stadia closed for renovations i.e Kinoru, Nyayo, Eldoret and Kasarani
September 11, 2017- Third inspection visit by CAF
September 21- Government approves sh 4.2 bn budget to renovate the four stadia
