Manchester United have landed Spanish wonderkid Arnau Puigmal.

The 16-year-old took to Instagram to confirm the “dream move” following his departure from Espanyol after six years.

Posing alongside Manchester United legend Andy Cole, he wrote: “Very happy and proud to announce that I am a new Manchester United player, a dream come true.

“It’s time to work, come on Red Devils.”

The Spanish youth international penned his United contract earlier this summer but was forced to wait for international clearance before breaking the news.

According to Sun reports, Puigmal, a Spain youth international, caught the eye of United favourite Nicky Butt who oversees United’s academy recruitment.

United scouts first noticed the young starlet at the Mediterranean International Cup where he was crowned most valuable player.

The likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Philippe Coutinho have also starred in the same tournament.
