With only few days after the elections, some Kenyans across the country have been in fear due to the political demonstrations that have caused tension in some regions of the country. As normalcy is experienced in most parts of the country, many Kenyans still call for peace and unity in Kenya.
Those affected directly or indirectly now expect that life continues. Leaders from different regions including the President Uhuru Kenyatta, his Deputy William Ruto, religious leaders and other leaders have also called for peace. Kenyan citizens are also not left behind and through different activities like football matches, they are up to strengthening their ties among the 43 tribes. The social media is also flocked with messages of peace and hashtags like #PeaceIsAllWeNeed.
