Trust issues still hindering e-commerce in Kenya

Lack of trust in buying goods online has been cited as one of the reasons for the current low penetration of e-commerce in the country.

 Jumia Kenya Managing Director Sam Chappatte said this is despite Kenya being a leader in Internet penetration in Africa at 66 per cent, with 31,985,048 of the country’s population being able to access the web.
