Volume of imported clinker crosses to 2 million tonnes per annum

Volume of imported clinker crosses 2 million tonnes. Data from the 2017 Economic Survey shows that clinker imports increased by 34.5 per cent over the last five years from 1.49 million tonnes per annum in 2012.

However, over the same period, the value of imported clinker has only increased by 2.8 per cent to Sh8.37 billion.
