My hens are laying funny eggs!

Abnormal eggs. Many a times abnormalities in eggs are caused by deficiency in certain nutrients.

My farm in Naivasha – Nature Kuku - conducts training for poultry farmers nearly every month. The one-day training enables us to interact one-on-one with the attending farmers and all kind of questions and concerns relating to poultry are raised.

One of the most frequent questions I come across has to do with eggs and abnormalities in them. It is fundamental to understand the process involved in egg formation which in return would enable us to grasp how some defects occur.
