Former Mt Elgon MP Fred Kapondi has denied claims that he threatened to recruit youths to cause violence.

Mr Kapondi said yesterday he was quoted out of context. In a video that has been doing the rounds on social media, Kapondi is heard saying, "Kama ni kupanga vijana, hakuna mtu anajua kupanga kushinda mimi," (If it means organising youths, no one can match me).
