Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) will convene its National Delegates Conference (NDC) in February to make critical decisions ahead of the 2017 general elections.
Party leader and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua yesterday said issues to be discussed by the delegates include the nomination fees to be paid by aspirants and dates of the primaries.
Dr Mutua, who spoke in Nairobi during a meeting with aspirants from Central Kenya counties announced that his party will field candidates for all elective seats except the presidency.
“We shall have MCC candidates going for governors, senators, MP and MCA positions. We shall back President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017.
Party members during the NDC will decide how much each aspirant will pay as nomination fees,” he said.
