Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi answers school's prayer

Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has pledged to support Kenya's most populous primary school, Bungoma DEB Primary School. Dr Matiang'i, who finally visited the school yesterday after The Standard highlighted their plight, promised a number of goodies for the institution.

The school in Kanduyi constituency which was established by colonialists in 1953, is operating way beyond its capacity with a population of 3,236 pupil's with only 51 Teachers Service Commission employed teachers.
