Joy as residents receive title deeds after 44 years

Residents of Nauneria, Samburu Central Sub-County, were overjoyed after they finally received title deeds for their group ranch.

The 2,000 members got the titles after 44 years of waiting. Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal and Samburu County Lands and Housing Executive Irene Senei Leseeto presided over the event which saw residents receive ownership documents for their 16,000 acres. Mr Lenolkulal (pictured) said that other members of group ranches will also get their titles soon.
