Ahmednasir barred from defaming spy-chief Muhoro

The High Court in Nairobi has barred senior lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi (pictured) from making further defamatory claims on Director for Criminal Investigations Ndegwa Muhoro.

High Court Judge Lucy Njuguna gave the orders after Mr Muhoro sued the lawyer, lamenting that he was out to tarnish his hard-earned reputation over wrangles at the Tatu City. “Interim orders be and are hereby issued restraining the defendant, his agents, and or servants or anyone acting on their behalf from writing, publishing, discussing, uttering or conveying defamatory and or disparaging information in any other manner whatsoever about the applicant, his person, his character, and or occupation pending the interparties hearing,” the judge ruled.
