A business reporter with The Standard has been selected for the 2016 David Astor Journalism Awards programme. He and another journalist from Uganda were selected for the programme.
The Standard business reporter Frankline Sunday and Caroline Ariba, a features writer with The New Vision in Kampala, emerged the winners last week, following a six-month assessment of 30 locally nominated candidates. The programme promotes and supports up-and-coming journalists in East Africa.
