Act promptly to curb rustling menace

With reports once again emerging that cattle rustlers from Isiolo killed one herder and drove away 157 head of cattle in Tigania East on Tuesday, many would wonder if there would ever be peace amongst the pastoral communities.

This incident occurred after several meetings with elders, and just a day after National Cohesion and Integration Commission officials had visited the region to resolve the recurrent cattle rustling menace that has left scores dead and hundreds of livestock lost.
