Glay may soon play for Gor Mahia

Nairobi: Kenya: Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia may soon start fielding defender Dirkir Glay in local league matches. The former Thika United defender has been a conspicuous absence in K’Ogalo’s league matches after missing out on the first three matches due to lack of work permit – a critical requirement by the Ministry of Labor for all foreigners drawing a salary from any work in the country.

Gor Mahia has already submitted all requirements to process the Liberian’s papers and as Assistant Secretary General Ronald Ngala confirmed, everything is look up now. “We have already received communication from the authorities confirming receipt of our documents and soon we’ll get Glay cleared for domestic competition.”
