Methodist church welcomes security law

The Methodist Churches of Kenya have lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta's move to assent to the controversial security law, saying it will help boost security and combat increasing cases of terror attacks.

Methodist Presiding Bishop Rev Joseph Ntombura said the Security Law Amendment Act 2014 will stem terrorism activities in the country and called on all Kenyans to support it.
