Kenya accepts to chair Group of 15 countries

NAIROBI: Kenya has agreed to chair the Group of 15 countries (G15) after Sri Lanka, the 30th meeting of the Ministers of Foreign affairs of the Group held at the sidelines of the 69th United Nations General Assembly has been told.

Speaking during the meeting, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed thanked the Group for the confidence they had shown and the role they had bestowed on Kenya to lead the Group.
