Gossip: Arsenal could be cut out of Fabregas deal

Chelsea are trying to structure a deal to sign Cesc Fabregas that would lead to Arsenal missing out on any payment for their former midfielder.

Arsenal are set to receive 50 per cent of any profit made from Fabregas' sale but Chelsea are reportedly attempting to strike a deal that would see the Gunners miss out. Chelsea have opened negotiations with Barcelona over signing Fabregas, but would prefer not to end up effectively paying their Premier League rivals Arsenal a percentage of the fee.
