KQ Dreamliner starts Nairobi–Paris service

Kenya Airways started flying the recently acquired Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Paris yesterday as it boosts capacity to meet growing demand on the route.

Captain Irene Mutungi (Koki), the first African female B787 Dreamliner captain, flew the aircraft’s inaugural flight on the route. Kenya’s Director  for Foreign Affairs and International Trade Lazarus Amayo was the passenger-in-chief on the flight. Also on board was Remi Maréchaux, the French Ambassador to Kenya. The B787 Dreamliner replaces the B767 aircraft, which previously served the route.
