TAITA, KENYA: Taita-Taveta County Government has introduced new guidelines for the contractors implementing community development projects in the region and warned of heavy punishment on breach.
The County Executive Committee (CEC) member in-charge of Water and Irrigation Joseph Mbogho disclosed on Thursday that under the new regulations contractors who delay the completion of water projects will pay Sh 20,000 liquidation damages per day delayed.
