According to the Daily Sun website, South African Olympic silver medallist Caster Semenya is reportedly set to marry girlfriend and fellow athlete Violet Raseboya. The 23-year-old has sent her parents to Raseboya’s family in Polokwane to negotiate lobola – a traditional Southern African custom whereby the family of the fiancée is paid for her hand in marriage. Preparations for the wedding are reportedly under way.
