A ‘wild’ impetus: Nkanata’s inclusion in team to Bahamas World Relays brings excitement and hope

Athletics Kenya’s decision to hand 24-year-old USA-based Carvin Nkanata a wild card has excited many runners who now hope he will push the Kenyan squad to the podium at the second edition of IAAF World Relays in Bahamas next month.

Nkanata posted a world leading time of the season of 20:14 seconds in 200m at Pure Athletics Sprint Festival in Clermont, Florida, last Saturday.
