Devani arrested

Runaway businessman Yagnesh Devani is sleeping in a British jail cell tonight after his sudden arrest and arraignment in court in London. Devani was arrested two days after British authorities assured Kenya they would capture the man behind the 7.6 billion shilling triton oil scandal. And while the British claim today’s arrest was coincidental, it comes at a time of heightened lobbying to have two kenyans, chris okemo and Samuel Gichuru extradited to the united kingdom to face corruption charges. KTN’s Anne Kiguta reports.
