Kalonzo on local tribunal

Wannabes
Vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka has welcomed the latest effort by Imenti central MP Gitobu Imanyara on the formation of a local tribunal to try suspects of the post-election violence. The VP expressed confidence that the new bill would get the necessary support in parliament and pave way for the establishment of the tribunal. The VP added that he has rooted for a local tribunal all along because Kenya was not a failed state without the mechanism to carry out prosecutions and defend justice within its borders. He was speaking in Abaswen in Wajir south constituency where he joined several ODM Kenya and PNU mps to celebrate the victory of his party’s mp Mohammed Sirat in last year’s by-election.
