Netizens celebrate as ‘Njaanuary’ comes to an end

Kenyans online on Friday, January 31, took to social media and expressed their happiness towards the end of the first month of 2020.

Many took the opportunity to explain how they managed to cope with the rough tides that are associated with the month.

January has over time been described as a tough month since it is proceeded by the month of festivities, that is, December.

Many people spend a huge chunk of their cash in enjoyment which without proper budgeting lead to a shortage of money in January.

Some narrated how they were able to cope with the month while others were glad to have made it to the end of the month.

Heartstring KE- We're here to say bye bye to Njaanuary! It's never that serious.

Ravers Paradise - 60 Days of #njaanuary are over. YOU MADE IT .. That's enough reason to pop some bottles tonight.

Juma G - Njaanuary can make you hate your friends for refusing to lend you money, when in real sense, it is your own poor financial planning habits. Never again will ever enter January with empty-pockets. I better cry in December and smile through Njaanuary!

Erick Bonyi - Surviving two months of Njaanuary ain't a joke. I feel like a legend somehow.

Nevertheless, we may not know what the future holds, as they say, as to what is future, even a bird with a long neck cannot see.
