Esther Passaris to dedicate Sh200k from her salary every month to help youth with business ideas

Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris on Thursday 16 January offered to help youth with business ideas in a bid to solve the issue of unemployment. Through her Twitter handle, Passaris vowed to dedicate Sh200,000 every month out of her salary to help the youth. This came after one Twitter user, Brian Mboya, asked the Nairobi Women Rep to offer him any job even it meant sweeping floors. Passaris responded to the Mboya telling him she does not have any job openings at the moment, and she would rather he gets self-employed. "I do not have any jobs at the moment. What I have is grants to help you get off to being self-employed. I will dedicate 200k every month out of my monthly salary and the best business advisors and mentors. All you have to do is 'pitch' your idea on this platform," said Passaris. Most netizens appreciated the Women Rep's effort to help youth get employed and even wrote some of their business ideas on the comment section.
