TEARY SCENES: NASA supporters get a dose of teargas [PHOTOS]

The National Super Alliance flag bearer Raila Odinga has remained adamant, saying that the Coalition would not participate in another election if Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission officials found to have committed election malpractices are not dealt with.

IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba watched from the top of Anniversary Towers as NASA demonstrators slowly gathered, chanting and singing, waiting for him to come out of office.

The CEO, however, said that he had work to do and that demonstrating was a Kenyan right. He then said that he does not plan on resigning but is focused on conducting a new election as ordered by the Supreme Court.

When the National super Alliance (NASA) supporters responded to their leaders' call to go to the streets, in a bid to kick IEBC election officials out of office, police responded the way they know best - hurling teargas at them.

As the marching demonstrators scampered for safety, motorcycle riders and their passengers found themselves caught up in the smoky melee.

Here are some of the scenes captured by our photographer Boniface Okendi:
