Former Minister Henry Kosgey terms remarks by Former CS Felix Koskei 'stupid'

A funeral service of Rebecca Chepkazi, the mother of Former Cabinet Minister Dr. Sally Kosgey presented a perfect political battleground for Nandi gubernatorial titans.

The top contenders for the seat who included incumbent Governor Dr. Cleophas Lagat, Senator Stephen Sang, Former Industrialization Minister Henry Kosgey and Former Agriculture CS Felix Koskei were all present with political aura oozing throughout the function.

However, it was Former Tinderet MP Henry Kosgey who slammed Former Agriculture CS Felix Koskei to the amusement of residents.

Koskei termed utterances made by the Former CS as misguided when the latter remarked that he had lost a vote through the passage of Rebecca, who was being laid to rest.

In his message of condolence to Dr. Kosgey's family for the loss, Kosgey said he had lost one vote since the late Rebecca would have voted for him in the coming elections.

"I know the late gogo would have voted for me in the coming elections and unfortunately I have lost a vote through her demise,"said Koskei.
However Kosgey slammed Felix Koskei saying his remark was misguided.
"To lose a mother is not a joke and therefore to say you have lost a vote is not right,"said Kosgey.
