Hardcore female gangster ‘robbed Tahidi High stars’

Tahidi High stars were robbed by a notorious female gangster, police have claimed.

A woman suspected to be a serial robber is claimed to have joined a gang that stole from the TV stars at gunpoint.

Flying Squad officers arrested her in Naivasha after informers saw her drive on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

The stars included Joseph Kinuthia aka Omosh and ‘Teacher Meiposi’.

“I’m so glad that she has been arrested but I’m shocked that a woman could be behind this attack. We were attacked in broad daylight. It was hardly 7pm,” Omosh told The Nairobian.

He however said he does not recall seeing a woman during the attack.

The gang had raided a home they had visited in Kinamba and stole cash and other items from them two months ago.

Police said they are collecting evidence that the woman was with the gang that robbed the celebs.

The middle-aged woman had been trailed by Flying Squad for two months.

Police claim she was involved in a series of robberies in Nyandarua and in one incident a granny was killed.

Soon after the arrest, two victims identified her.

According to one of the victims, the woman stole his ATM and used it to withdraw cash from his account.

“I was with the woman for over two hours during the ordeal and I would recognise her any time,” he said.

A police source said the woman had robbed more than 10 people in Naivasha recently.

“One of the gang members was shot dead last month and we have been tracking this woman until now,” said the source.

Naivasha deputy police boss Paul Korir said she will be taken to court once investigations are complete.
