MP starts drive against youth radicalisation

Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan has pledged to rally his constituents to stem out youth radicalisation, which he admitted is deep-rooted in the area.

The MP who made the pledge when he met residents of Airbase Community yesterday urged locals to support the Government’s efforts to fight the vice.

Mr Hassan, a victim of terror attack, told the youths who have already crossed into Somalia to take advantage of the Government’s amnesty and return to the country for rehabilitation.

“Do not be misled by people who invite you to join Al-Shabaab in the neighbouring Somalia,” he said.
