Many men dating ‘cougars’ have found that they can return to university or start a business, risks that wouldn’t be possible if they were dating women of their own age. There’s the physical intimacy factor. It’s a known fact that women peak sexually in their late 30s and into their 40s, while men reach their greatest performance levels at age 19, and then they go downhill.
Many older women feel that they’ve missed out on something when they were younger and less experienced. The sexual prowess and energy of a younger male is often very attractive to many mature women. Also, a mature woman knows her body.
Younger men definitely find an older woman’s sexual confidence quite a ‘turn on’.
