The reverend died peacefully at his home in Kenya after three months of illness. He will be buried on Monday, April 12, 2021.

In a statement, Authur K described his father as a role model who taught him all that he is to date.

"We have lost a role model, our spiritual father, and a great community leader. Peaceful, calm, and orderly man of God He has indeed gone to be with the God he preached about to many all his life."
